Note: EMS will conduct a series of workshops on Saturday morning concurrent with the application sessions. |
*Our four primary majority world guests will be asked to survey their peers and identify the most significant issue facing the global church's missional agenda at this moment in history. They will be given 15 minutes to explain that issue and 15 minutes to offer a seminal thought on how to solve it. Two majority world guests will share on Wednesday evening and the other two on Thursday morning. They will not confer with each other about the content of their presentation. In between each presentation participants will be given an opportunity to interact in small groups to identify related issues and/or questions that will be used to drive the moderated panel discussions later in the program.
** Steve Moore will share one morning and Marv Newell will share the other. This will simply set the tone for the day and re-establish the thematic context for the event with a reflection on a relevant passage of Scripture.
*** Conversation Group topics could include: BAM, short-term trips, finances/dependency, orality, partnerships, majority world sending structures, multi-cultural teams…and more. We would like to identify 12-15 topics.
